Cloud – Pre Sales Solutions Architect

As a Pre-Sales Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for working with customers and prospects, to gather their business needs and translate them into a technical solution using various Cloud Platform. You have competency in leading client requirements gathering (business and technical) in support of architecting, designing and overall technical value selling of cloud-based solutions. You are passionate about technology and in particular, leveraging core cloud computing service models to drive incremental business value to customer e.g. accelerated time to value and time to market.

Position: Pre Sales Solutions Architect

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise on cloud computing best practices and how the Information Builders Cloud Platform solution supports those practices.
  • Develop and present complex multi-tier cloud applications on leading cloud service provider platforms e.g. Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud, and demonstrating customer use-case compliance via proof of technology engagements.
  • Design and deliver dynamic product demonstrations
  • Apply your business acumen to specialize in one or more vertical industries
  • Drive all technical aspects of proof of technology from data review and gathering business requirements to designing and presenting the solution


You possess a well-rounded technical portfolio of skills including (but not limited to):

  • Experience with Python and JavaScript
  • Understanding of techniques for scaling applications in a cloud environment
  • Knowledge in Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodology and DevOps
  • Skills in Go and Python preferable
  • Ability to be productive in a globally distributed team through self-discipline and self-motivation


  • 5+ years as a Solutions Architect, Systems Engineer or Sales Consultant. Experience working with enterprise cloud solutions as part of a different role within an organization will also be considered. Flexibility to travel.

Cisco Pre Sales Engineer

Open roles for Cisco focused Network Pre Sales Engineer who has strong Cisco R S / Network Solutions Design expertise. The Security Technical Solutions Specialist is responsible for deep technical coverage for Cisco’s Security products, as well as overall Security architectures compromised of multiple products from both Cisco and our partner third party vendors. The engineer will be working as a part of the virtual pre-sales organization to design and deliver customized solutions to meet our customer’s business needs. As a bonus, you’ll also work with amazing people in product development and collaborate with peers to teach and learn using real-time web conferencing and video collaboration tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in conjunction with our sales team to develop and executive account strategy
  • Act as a trusted advisor and technical consultant for all products and related technologies
  • Maintain a current expert knowledge of all products and services
  • Maintain a working knowledge of competitors’ products and services and of emerging trends in the collaboration industry as a whole
  • Maintain a working knowledge of industry standards to leverage interoperability advantages of our solutions
  • Create sales proposals and Quotations
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations in concert with the sales team
  • Effectively demonstrate our solutions and support evaluation/PoCs
  • Provide input for development of new products and enhancement of current products
  • Design end-to-end collaboration solutions that address a customer’s business needs
  • Work with extended team to develop custom solutions leveraging APIs to address customer requirements
  • Assist clients with ROI studies, equipment budgets, systems requirements and specifications
  • 50% travel in territory


  • The candidate should possess minimum 5 years’ experience in a role providing analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills in a technology-driven environment
  • The candidate should possess minimum 5 years’ experience in a strategic technical sales role providing technical solutions to address customer business needs
  • Demonstrated ability in public speaking and presentation skills, with a focus on presenting technical information to those with a non-technical background
  • Excellent discovery and active listening skills with experience discussing collaboration technologies, unified communications and real-time applications over IP
  • Work effectively across functional lines, in coordination with others involved in product management, marketing and technical support services
  • Experience creating technical responses and formal documentation in a written and graphical format including technical architecture plans, phased approach proposals and network topologies
  • IP, Cisco IOS, switching and routing protocols, QoS, Security
  • Understanding of Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory
  • Familiarization with common UC collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx Teams, and BlueJeans
  • Awareness of ITU-T H.323 and IETF SIP suite of standard UC protocols
  • Experience supporting technical sales in enterprise markets
